Every place has its own way of communicating. Some rely on words.
Others on symbols, colors, traditions—or things left unsaid.
Others on symbols, colors, traditions—or things left unsaid.
Growing up between Brazil and Southeast Asia made me notice those differences long before I knew what branding was. Looking back, I think that's where my curiosity about people—and communication—really started.
I'm Mariana Trucco, a Brazilian Brand Designer currently based in Warsaw, Poland.
Over the last 10 years, I've worked with startups, global companies and nonprofits, designing everything from brand identities, visual systems, food packaging to presentations, websites and a whole lot more.
I also come from a family of entrepreneurs, and for a while I had the chance to build businesses of my own. It completely changed the way I think about design.
Beautiful brands are great.
But if they don't help people understand, trust or choose a product, they're just decoration.
But if they don't help people understand, trust or choose a product, they're just decoration.
These days, what excites me most isn't simply making things look better. It's understanding how people perceive brands, make decisions and connect with ideas. Design just happens to be my favorite way of turning those insights into something tangible.
So whether I'm building a brand from scratch, creating a presentation for a global team or designing packaging that needs to stand out on a crowded shelf, my goal is always the same: Make things clearer. More human. And worth remembering.
